Also known as William of Vaurouillon, Guilelmus (de Valle Rouillonis), born in the place of that name near St. Brieuc in France. (Other sources say Dinant, c. 1390). From 1429 - 1431 he lectured on Lombard's Sentences in Paris. He supposedly refused to to take part in the trial of Joan of Arc in February 1431, and left the University after completing only three out of the required four books. From 1447 onwards he was a regent master in Paris and at Poitiers, becoming licentiate and master of theology at Paris in 1448. Between 1449 and 1461 he was provincial minister at Tours. He died in Rome in 1463.
