The Pontifical Library Antoniana is the ancient library of the monastery of the Basilica del Santo in Padua. It dates back to the convent of the Basilica del Santo, built around 1240 as a nobile monasterium. It is unique in Italy among the ancient Franciscan libraries, having been preserved intact escaping raids, dispersions, confiscations etc.
